Dearest Volunteers,
We are looking for help with our November Fashion Friday! Fashion Friday allows NFNL members to go shopping at our office for clothing and volunteers with serve at "Style Consultants". Volunteers will assist members with finding their sizes and help them pick out clothing in 3 designated rooms.
Once you arrive at NFNL at 10:00 am, we will transfer the clothing items into each room and lay everything out by size and category.
NFNL members will begin to arrive at 11:30 am in the Adult Resource Center. 1-2 volunteers will get them signed up in the order that they arrive and give them 2 tickets. Each ticket represents 1 item that they can pick out. They will give the volunteer who is in the room their ticket once they are ready to check out.
From 11:30-11:45 am, we will provide NFNL members with an overview of how everything will look and explain the process of Fashion Friday. Once everything is clear and everyone has been signed up, we will have a “runner” staff person and volunteer begin taking members to the designated rooms to being shopping. This will keep an orderly flow and avoid any congestion in one room.
More specifics will be provided the day of the event, but I wanted to provide a brief overview.
