Did you know that Texas is ranked second in the nation for the amount of sex trafficking? If you didn't know that you'll probably be shocked by some of the other statistics.
Are you ready to take the next step and be committed to helping our women and youth in their recovery process?
If you answered Yes, No and Yes then you need to sign up for our general orientation. You will learn much more about sex trafficking, such as how it can happen to anyone, why this happens so easily and even the kind of people who buy girls. You will learn more about New Friends New Life as an organization and what our specific roles are. Finally, you'll understand what opportunities are available to you as a volunteer and what you need to do to get started.
We are always ready to welcome new people but because our members have survived a great amount, if you are looking to be involved as a ProtectHER or DefendHER, we also ask that you clear a background check (completed through this site) for their protection, and complete an additional Intensive Training (registration for that event available on the Women's Program page) at our offices and a Child Abuse Awareness training (done online).
