Dearest Volunteers,
This month marks one year since NFNL, The Meadows Foundation, and Bonton Farms broke ground on Liberty Street Garden, a one-acre garden in the Historic Wilson District that employs women enrolled in our program to restore and empower survivors of human trafficking and exploitation.
We are excited to announce that this Friday, June 7th, Liberty Street Garden will be launching its First Friday Farmers Market! We will be selling freshly harvested organic vegetables and flowers from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (while supplies last) and are inviting our partners and close friends to the soft opening that will then take place the first Friday of every month moving forward. All proceeds will benefit Liberty Street Garden and the programs at New Friends New Life.
Don't forget to bring your grocery list and a friend with you this Friday - we look forward to seeing you there!
